Rule of Law: Yangon Region holds meeting on law enforcement

A Meeting for Law Enforcement Measures in Yangon Region took place on 23rd April at Yangon Region Government Office.

Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended the meeting and gave opening remark, stating that the new cabinet designated 100-day mission for sector-wise development and law enforcement plays crucial role in order to successfully carry out the tasks.

He added that the country’s pivotal sectors, such as the economy, education, and health will grow if effective enforcement exists across the region. He outlined the implementation of Community Policing plan, jointly conducted by police force, township officials and residents, while taking legal action against perpetrators. Attendee discussed matters relating to implementation of regional law enforcement, and ensuring peace and stability. The Chief Minister coordinated the needs.
