



Vice President U Nyo Saw received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, in the morning of April 22 at the Guest Hall of the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they held cordial and open discussions on the matters relating to further strengthening the existing diplomatic relations and friendship between the two nations, promoting multi-sectoral cooperation, including the economic sector, expansion of border trade, and the energy sector, increasing investment opportunities and enhancing cooperation between the central banks of both countries, ensuring peace and stability in border regions, intensifying collaboration in combating illegal border trade, online gambling and scams.
The meeting was attended by Vice President U Nyo Saw along with Union Minister U Tun Ohn, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Dr. Khin Naing Oo, Deputy Ministers, and other officials. The Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by his advisors and relevant officials, it’s learnt.
