




A meeting with the staff serving at the Ministry of Religious Affairs was held on April 21 at the ground floor assembly hall of Office No. (31) in Nay Pyi Taw.
First, Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin expressed his gratitude to the staff for successfully and dutifully fulfilling their responsibilities over the past five-year term. He noted that as the year transitions from the Myanmar Era 1387 to 1388, just as they overcame the difficulties and challenges of the old year, he believes the staff will successfully navigate the New Year through unity, diligence, and unwavering perseverance.
The Minister highlighted that the 70th Anniversary of the Sixth Buddhist Council (Chaṭṭha Saṅgāyana) Victory Celebration is scheduled to be held at the Maha Pasana Cave on Kaba Aye Hill in Yangon from April 30 to May 2, 2026. Additionally, grand ceremonies for Kason Full Moon (Buddha Day) will be held in Nay Pyi Taw on April 30.
Therefore, he urged the respective departments to complete their designated tasks on time and to report any difficulties through the proper channels. In accordance with his previous instructions, he urged the staff to adhere to the mottos: "Nothing is trivial; act with earnestness" and "Accumulate merit while serving the public." Furthermore, he instructed them to follow the motto "Report back" by ensuring that all actions and progress are communicated to the relevant levels of authority, it’s learnt.
