English Proficiency Course : 200 primary school teachers attended the course

The opening ceremony of the English Language Proficiency Enhancement Course (Main Course) for primary school teachers was held on April 20 at the Multipurpose Hall of Dawei University, Dawei, Taninthayi Region. The ceremony began with a performance by the trainee teachers, who sang the song "Golden Age of Education".

At the ceremony, Region Chief Minister U Zaw Naing Oo, expressed his great pride and joy that teachers are spending their summer vacation to attend English language proficiency enhancement courses for their self-development. He emphasized that it is necessary for them to utilize the English skills gained from the course to bring better rays of knowledge to their communities and their students.

Following this, Rector of Dawei University, Dr. Than Than Oo, clarified the purpose for opening the course. Then, the trainee teachers performed by singing the song “Our Duty ".

In the English Language Proficiency Enhancement Course (Main Course), 200 primary school trainee teachers will be provided with theoretical and practical training by Rector of Dawei University, Dr. Than Than Oo, and responsible officials until May 20, it’s reported.
