








The closing ceremony of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy, Air) Family Water-Playing Pandal for the 1387 ME Myanmar Traditional New Year Maha Thingyan Festival was held in the evening of Maha Thingyan Atat Day on April 16.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, General Ye Win Oo and wife, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army), General KyawSwar Lin, and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Union-level dignitaries and their wives, foreign military attachés based in Myanmar; officers, ranks, family members; and Yein dance troupes.
They watched the performances by artists, vocalists, and Yein dance troupes at the water-playing pandal and presented cash of honor to the artists and Yein dance troupes. Afterwards, at the closing ceremony, artists, vocalists, and Yein dance troupes performed to the song "Mann Taung Yeik Kho or Resting in the Shadow of Mandalay Hill."
The Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, General Ye Win Oo, and his wife, together with those attending the closing ceremony, joyfully and peacefully sprinkled Thingyan water on the Yein dance troupes, successfully concluding the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy, Air) Family Water-Playingandal for the Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan Festival.
Additionally, in the morning, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army), General Kyaw Swar Lin, and wife, went to the Magyi-Yeik Water-Playing Pandal and the Sein Pan Water-Playing Pandal within the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) compound.
They joyfully participated in the New Year water festival together with officers, ranks, and family members, watched the performances by artists, vocalists, and family Yein dance troupes, and presented cash of honor.
