The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully accomplished the Second Integrated Air Drop Test for the Gaganyaan mission at the Satish Dhawan Space Station on Friday. This critical test validates the parachute systems designed to safely recover the crew module, marking a major milestone towards India’s first human spaceflight.

Led by ISRO, Gaganyaan mission is India’s first indigenous human spaceflight program designed to launch a 3-member crew into a 400 km orbit for up to three days and safely return them to Earth.
