Inspection of Full Dress Rehearsal: SSPC VC inspected full dress rehearsal of parade columns

The parade columns scheduled to participate in the military parade for the 81st Armed Forces Day, which falls on March 27, conducted full-dress rehearsal activities at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground on the evening of March 25.

During the rehearsal, units including the Military Band Corps, Central Military Band, Honorary Cavalry Squadron, mechanized columns, officers and ranks from seven columns, and female military personnel marched in unison from the parade formation point at Thit Tat Field to the main parade ground.

They marched with full vigor, singing military march songs accompanied by the bands of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Myanmar Police Force, carrying out the rehearsal according to the planned military parade program. The rehearsal was inspected by Vice-Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services Vice-Senior General Soe Win, along with Commission Secretary Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Ye Win Oo, Council Member Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Council Member Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen. Phone Myat, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Organizing Committee Chief of Military Training General Pyi Sone Lin, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Management Committee Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Ma-J Gen. Kyi Thaik, and responsible officials.

During the inspection, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, and officials first inspected the flag-bearing unit and parade columns, the entry and positioning of vehicles within the parade ground, the seating arrangements for distinguished guests who will attend the 81st Armed Forces Day parade, the installation of the Simultaneous Interpretation System (SIS) for foreign guests, and the entry and positioning of the cavalry squadron and the VIP vehicle convoy.

Subsequently, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, and officials thoroughly inspected the timed formation flying exercises of Air Force aircraft and helicopters, the attire of the flag-bearing unit and companies of columns, the preparation of parade flags, small arms used in the parade, and uniforms, the parade movements of the various marching columns, and the honorary artillery battery.

They coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters. The military parade will involve officers, ranks, female military personnel, special task force members, vehicles, and machinery from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Myanmar Police Force, as well as aircraft and helicopters from the Air Force.
