Drug Seizure: K2.08 billion worth ICE seized in Tachileik

The Government is joining hands with people, as well as regional and international organizations in its efforts for eradication of narcotic drug. On 22nd March, members of Security Forces, acting on a tip-off, conducted security measures near Mae Sai creek of Tachileik in Shan State (East).

During the operation, they arrested Sai Maung One @ One One, together with about 260 kg of ICE, worth 2.08 billion kyats. Actions has been taken in line with the law and investigation is underway to arrest related suspects. People are urged to inform about the information of drug trafficking confidentially. The informants' identity will be protected and rewards will be provided.
