Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Ukris Boontanondha at the Zeyathiri Beikman Reception Hall in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of March 18th.

During the meeting, discussions were cordially held on various matters including the longstanding and excellent diplomatic relations and friendly cooperation between the two countries and the armed forces, increasing cooperation between the two militaries. maintaining regional and border area peace and stability, preventing illegal trade and combating narcotics along the border regions, reducing transboundary haze pollution, environmental conservation, cooperation in training matters between the two armed forces, collaborating to effectively prevent and eliminate online scams, the status of the upcoming High-Level Committee (HLC) meeting between senior officers of the Myanmar and Thai armed forces, Myanmar's successful holding of free, fair, clean, and credible multi-party democracy general elections and the current convening of Hluttaw sessions, the recent elections held in Thailand and the current status of its parliamentary sessions and further enhancing cooperation between the two countries and the armed forces.

Following the meeting, the SSPC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and the Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Armed Forces exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for a group photo with attendees.
