






The pre-Hluttaw orientation event for representatives of the Third Kayah State Hluttaw was held at the Affairs Committees Hall of the Kayah State Hluttaw Office, attended by State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, State Government members, Kayah State Hluttaw representatives, the Steering Committee for Convening Kayah State Hluttaw Sessions, various working committees, the Deputy Director General of the State Hluttaw Office, and responsible officials.
First, the State Chief Minister delivered an opening address, after which the Chief Minister, State Government members, and newly elected State Hluttaw representatives introduced themselves individually. Following that, a video clip was shown demonstrating a Role Play conducted by Hluttaw Office staff regarding the election of the Chairperson, Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the State Hluttaw, to ensure the successful convening of the first regular session of the Third Kayah State Hluttaw.
Subsequently, information about the Kayah State Hluttaw and matters pertaining to Hluttaw sessions were explained by the Deputy Director General of the State Hluttaw Office. Legal information was presented by State Law Officer U Kyaw Min Naing, and matters concerning state finances were explained by Daw Thwe Thwe Tun, Director from the State Budget Department.
The newly elected State Hluttaw representatives then asked questions and discussed matters they wished to know. Later, State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, along with State Government members and officials, visited and encouraged students sitting for the sixth day of the 2026 Matriculation Examination at Basic Education High School No. (1), examination center in Loikaw.
They instructed responsible officials on necessary matters. Following the inspection, the Chief Minister, State Government members, and organizations distributed snacks and soft drinks to students who had completed their examinations. The Chief Minister warmly greeted and conversed with parents and guardians of the students.
The students taking the 2025-2026 academic year Matriculation Examination at the Basic Education High School No. (1), examination center in Loikaw were able to take their exams in a calm and pleasant manner, it’s reported.
