University Exams Begin: Kayah State CM visited exam centers in Loikaw

The 2025-2026 academic year university examinations commenced on March 16. Kayah State Chief Minister U Sein Oo, along with state government members and officials, visited and encouraged students taking exams at Loikaw Education Degree College and Loikaw University in the morning of March 16th.

They provided guidance and coordinated necessary support. In the afternoon, a coordination meeting for the successful and festive celebration of the 2026 Myanmar Traditional Cultural New Year Thingyan Festival, organized by the Kayah State Government, was held at the meeting hall of the State Government Office.

The State Chief Minister U Sein Oo delivered the opening address. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Work Committee and sub-committees should strive for success by coordinating among themselves according to their respective sectors in implementing measures for a grand and successful Myanmar Traditional Cultural Thingyan Festival.

He particularly stressed the importance of focusing on the Walking Thingyan this year and highlighted the need to ensure the festival remains a New Year Thingyan celebration involving the public, without diminishing Myanmar's traditional cultural heritage.

Subsequently, attending members from the Work Committee and sub-committees discussed matters related to their respective sectors and presented their planned activities and measures. State government members then followed up with additional discussions. The State Chief Minister provided necessary coordination on the discussions and delivered the concluding remarks, it’s reported.
