Enactment of Law: Union Taxation Law came into effect on April 1

The National Defence and Security Council enacted the Union Taxation Law 2026 as the Law No.18/2026 of the National Defence and Security Council on March 15, 2026. The order was signed was signed by Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, under the Section 427 of the constitution. The Law will come into effect on 1st April 2026.
