Opening of Refresher Course: MORAC UM delivered the opening speech

The opening ceremony of the Refresher Course No. 1/2026for Staff Officers, under the Department of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, was held at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on March 11th.

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Tin Oo Lwin, attended and delivered the opening address. During the ceremony, the Union Minister delivered the opening speech stating that the trainees need to successfully implement the policies of the ministry.

These policies include: ensuring every citizen residing in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has the right to freely profess their religion in accordance with the Constitution, and fostering and safeguarding amicable relations among members of different faiths, working to preserve, protect, and propagate the Buddha Sasana, and supporting the unity of Sangha members from all fraternal orders, taking measures to cultivate a society where all citizens possess good morals and are refined and polite and coordinating and cooperating on international religious affairs.

He emphasized the importance of successfully implementing these policies. Subsequently, Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin and responsible officials greeted and conversed with the trainees, after which the ceremony was formally concluded. The course will be conducted over a period of three weeks, from March 11 to 26.
