Rural Development: Efforts for agriculture and livestock development

A groundbreaking ceremony for a brick and tile factory of the “Pale U” General Trading Business Cooperative Association Limited was held in Shwe Pyi Aye Village of Lewe Township on Thursday.

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe attended the ceremony and laid the foundation stone, together with the concerned officials. Representatives from the company then presented the construction and operational plans. The Union Minister instructed for soonest completion of the projects, following proper procedures, and ensuring the products reach the market.

The Union Minister and party also visited Yone Taw Village and inspected the construction progress for poultry farm, as well as installation of farming machinery and seed equipment. He emphasized for timely completion of the projects and providing farmers with necessary equipment for the upcoming cultivation season.
