Sufficient Fuel Supply: Field inspection on fuel import and distribution

Accompanied by Yangon Region government members, Chief Minister U Soe Thein conducted field inspection on fuel import and distribution on Thursday.

At the briefing hall of Max Terminal in Thilawa Port of Kyauk Tan Township, the Chief Minister and officials met with the departmental officials, officials from Petroleum Products Regulatory Department under the Ministry of Energy, Myanmar Petroleum Trade Association and Thilawa Port Terminals.

The Chief Minister instructed to distribute enough fuel to the consumers through systematic sales, with the set prices. The officials reported matters on fuel sufficiency, purchase order and fuel import. The Chief Minister gave necessary instructions on the reports and inspected the fuel filling up to fuel storage tanks at Max Terminal, Apex Gas and Oil Great Petroleum Terminal and Myat Myittar Mon Petrol Terminal.
