Preparation for Hluttaw Session: 3rd Mon State Hluttaw Introduction Ceremony

The 3rd Mon State Hluttaw Introduction Ceremony was held at Mon State Hluttaw Office on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein clarified the purpose of the ceremony which is to enable Hluttaw representatives to be familiar with Hluttaw procedures and expressed his appreciation for the representatives.

The Chief Minister called for the concerted efforts of the representatives in executing 3 main objectives of Hluttaw fulfilling their respective responsibilities. He also conveyed his hope in implementing a robust Hluttaw, gaining trust and reliable by the citizens.

Then, the Hluttaw representatives introduced themselves and certificates of recognition were presented to the representatives. Next, work implementations and procedures of 1st and 2nd Mon State Hluttaw and allowances for the representatives were clarified. Afterwards, plan and procedures for convening the 1st regular session was explained. This was followed by screening of a video clip featuring the 1st regular session demonstration and explanation on security measures.
