Deputy Minister for  Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut met with professors, researchers, and officials from Yezin Agricultural University, Agriculture Research Department and National AI Development Department in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday, to discuss the development of "Farmer AI" – a new agricultural technology.

He urged all for further collaboration between agricultural universities, research departments, and AI development organizations to enhance this technology. This AI focuses on agriculture and is designed to assist farmers by providing information on plant diseases, soil analysis, planting and harvesting times, yield rates, and market delivery.

Currently in its Version 1 (Beta), it will soon be available for download on the Play Store, with plans to integrate it with websites and online resources for more comprehensive services. The technology aims to help farmers by not just growing crops, but by teaching them how to grow crops that can be sold profitably.
