Photo Exhibition : Book launch on India-Rakhine historical relations

A book launch and photo exhibition on "India-Rakhine Historical Relations" was held at the Indian Cultural Center in Yangon on March 2.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Daw Nu Mra Zan, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Abhay Thakur, and ethnic literary and cultural representatives. The exhibition highlighted the long-standing trade, cultural, and religious ties between India and Rakhine, including artifacts and ancient inscriptions discovered in Rakhine.

The Indian Ambassador emphasized the significance of these relations in enhancing Myanmar-India cooperation, particularly in trade. During the book launch, the Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the Indian government and the Indian Embassy for their support in making the event successful. The event also featured performances by Rakhine and Indian cultural groups.
