Work Implementation: Preparations for matric exams and religious ceremony

Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win met with Grade-12 teachers and students at Pyin Ywar Basic Education High School in Myaungmya Township on February 28, to discuss ways to improve matriculation exam results.

He said efforts are being made every year to raise the pass rate, including organizing subject talks by university professors and providing extra classes for weak subjects. He urged teachers and students to work together for better results and presented cash awards to them. On March 1, the Chief Minister visited a 20-acre winter sunflower model farm in Thabaung Township.

He instructed farmers to prevent pests, apply water and fertilizer on time, and harvest carefully to avoid losses. In addition, he inspected preparations at Sasana Beikman Hall in Pathein for the 2026 religious title conferral ceremony organized by the regional government.
