35th Anniversary Ceremony of IPRD: MOI UM delivered the congratulatory speech

A ceremony commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Information and Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Information was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on February 25th.

First, a video clip titled "Towards Victory Hand in Hand with Shared Dreams - IPRD," showcasing the activities of the Information and Public Relations Department during the year 2025, was screened. Subsequently, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn delivered an address. He stated that the Information and Public Relations Department has stood firm and progressed as a key department within the Ministry for 35 years, and this robust advancement is due to the unified and cohesive efforts of its leaders and the personnel who diligently fulfill their respective duties.

He emphasized that the department operates as a vast network, with 435 offices at Region, State, District, Township, and Town levels. He urged all staff members to continue working collectively to earn the trust, reliance, and recognition of the public for the Ministry and their department.

Following this, the Permanent Secretary and departmental officials presented awards to the recipients of excellence awards. Subsequently, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint presented awards to various respective award recipients. The Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn then conferred awards upon the winning Region and State offices. The Director U Tin Ko Win from Magway Region, representing the award recipients, expressed words of gratitude.
