Inspection of Development Projects: MDY CM inspected development projects in Pyin Oo Lwin

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, accompanied by region ministers and responsible officials, conducted a field inspection of regional development activities in Pyin Oo Lwin Township on February 25th.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister and officials examined the progress of various infrastructure projects aimed at ensuring road safety and reducing traffic congestion in response to the growing population and increasing number of vehicles and road users in Pyin Oo Lwin.

The Chief Minister and officials inspected the widening to 24 feet, repair works, asphalt paving, and thermoplastic painting of five main arterial roads connecting the east-west and north-south corridors of Pyin Oo Lwin, including Theingi Road, Nawarat Road, Yadana Road, Pyi Thar Yar Road, and Malar Yuzana Road, located in Padetha ပဒေသာ New Town, Wards (8) and (10). They also reviewed the construction status of road shoulders and drainage canals, as well as the completed construction of a 10-foot-wide pedestrian platform in front of the Basic Education Middle School-1 (Basic Education High School Branch) near Pyin Oo Lwin railway station, which was built to ensure the safety of students and road users.

Following the inspections, the Chief Minister provided supplementary directives to responsible officials regarding necessary measures for future work plans, it’s reported.
