Pre-Job Training Course for EE: MOEP UM delivered the opening address

Union Minister for Electric Power, U Nyan Tun, attended the opening ceremony of the Pre-Job Training Course for Executive Engineers (Mechanical/Electrical) No. (1/2026) of the Ministry of Electric Power, held on the morning of February 23rd at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Training School.

He also attended a ceremony for a free health check-up and health awareness talk, organized in collaboration between the Ministry of Electric Power and the Ministry of Health, held at the Yay Ywar Hall, Office No. (27). At the opening ceremony of the Pre-Job Training Course for Executive Engineers, the Union Minister delivered an address.

He stated that this course, which includes study tours, will be conducted over a period of three weeks for Executive Engineers (Mechanical/Electrical) serving in various departments under the administration of the Department of Electric Power Transmission and Control. He mentioned that during the training period, the trainees will study management, finance, materials management, and engineering subjects.

He emphasized that the trainees need to build their own capabilities and skills by continuing to study technical books based on the subjects taught in the course and by collaborating with experienced engineers etc. In the afternoon, the Union Minister attended the event featuring free dental care, general health check-ups and treatments, and a health awareness talk for ministry staff and their families.

This was held under the collaborative programme between the Ministry of Electric Power and the Ministry of Health at the Yay Ywar Hall, Office No. (27). At the event, Dr. Zayyar Win, Director of the Department of Medical Service from the Nay Pyi Taw 1000-Bed General Hospital under the Ministry of Health, gave a talk titled "Seeking Ways for Longevity and Good Health." Professor Dr. Phyo Thiha, Senior Physician, provided health education regarding obesity. Following these health awareness presentations, Union Minister U Nyan Tun delivered words of thanks and presented commemorative gifts to the senior doctors, it’s reported.
