






Vice-Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of East Command, and responsible officials inspected the local defense battalions/units and training schools located in Ba Htoo Station on February 23.
First, at the Three-Story Classroom Briefing Hall at the Army Combat Training School (Ba Htoo), the commandants of the Army Combat Training School (Ba Htoo), the Army Officer Training School (Ba Htoo), and the Army Non-Commissioned Officer and Sergeant Training School briefed the SSPC Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) on the matters related to regional security operations, the four main tasks of military capacity building, and training affairs.
The SSPC Vice-Chairman inquired about points of interest, coordinated and addressed needs regarding training and school administration matters. In the afternoon, the Vice-Senior General, accompanied by members, proceeded to inspect the Animal Husbandry and Training Battalion in Ba Htoo Station.
At the battalion headquarters, following the battalion commander's briefing, the Vice-Senior General provided necessary guidance. Afterwards, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General and party inspected the agricultural and livestock activities being carried out within the model farming zone of the Animal Husbandry and Training Battalion, discussing and coordinating necessary actions with responsible officials.
Continuing on, the Vice-Senior General and party toured and inspected local defense battalions/units in Ba Htoo Station by vehicle. They met with families, cordially greeted and encouraged them, and coordinated necessary actions based on their submissions with responsible officials.
Following this, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General and party visited and inspected the local military hospital in Ba Htoo Station, providing necessary guidance. Subsequently, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General and party visited officers and other ranks receiving treatment at the hospital, inquiring about each individual's medical condition, offering words of encouragement, and presenting refreshments. Similarly, wife of the SSPC Vice-Chairman, Daw Than Than Nwe, along with members, visited the women's and children's ward, encouraging patients receiving treatment and presenting provisions.
Afterwards, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General and party inspected the preparation of evening meals for patients in the hospital kitchen. They also toured the installation and testing of the new CT Scan machine, provided by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, to aid in diagnosis for officers, other ranks, family members within the station, and local civilians, as well as the Portable Digital Dental X-ray machine.
The SSPC Vice-Chairman and his wife then presented cash of honor for the health staff serving at the hospital and monetary donations for the hospital fund, which were received by the hospital commander. Continuing on, the SSPC Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General and party toured and inspected local training schools by vehicle.
They met with families, cordially greeted and encouraged them, and coordinated necessary actions based on their submissions with responsible officials. they then inspected the trainees having their evening meals at the respective training school mess halls and provided necessary guidance to responsible officials, it’s reported.
