Inspection of Development Projects : Rakhine State CM inspected Development Projects in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Linn, accompanied by state government members and departmental officials, conducted a field inspection of regional development activities in Sittwe on February 23.

The Chief Minister and officials first arrived at the Shwe Zedi Monastic Education School in Kyaung Tet Lan Ward, Sittwe. They paid homage to the Su Taung Pyae Maha Kyan Buddha Image, offering flowers, water, and lights. Following this, they paid their homage to the Presiding Sayadaw and offered the donation items.

Then, they inspected the construction of a 50ft x 20ft two-story Reinforced Concrete (RC) school building at the Shwe Zedi Monastic Education School. This project is being implemented with the capital expenditure budget of the Rakhine State Government for the 2025-2026 financial year.

The State Director of the Development Coordination Office reported on the completion status of the RC school building.

The Chief Minister coordinated necessary requirements with officials and inspected the progress of the building, including the marble tiling on the ground floor, interior painting, and the gilding of wooden pillars.

The Chief Minister and party proceeded to Ein Soe May Mi Monastery in Ywa Gyi Taung Ward to inspect the construction of a 60ft x 30ft two-story RC school building.

The State Director explained the current completion status and future work plans. After providing necessary instructions, the Chief Minister cordially greeted local residents from the Ywa Gyi Taung Ward, it’s reported.
