





Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, accompanied by region ministers and other concerned officials, inspected the 2025–2026 academic year year-end Grade-5 and Grade-9 examinations on Monday in Maha Aung Myay and Aung Myay Thar Zan Districts.
During the visit, the Chief Minister observed exams at No. (28), No. (31) and No. (30) Basic Education High Schools and the Sports and Physical Education School (Mandalay) in Chan Mya Thazi Township, Maha Aung Myay District, and at No. (1), No. (4) and No. (8) Basic Education High Schools in Aung Myay Thar Zan Township. The Chief Minister urged students to avoid unnecessary absences, and strictly follow examination rules while coordinating the needs.
The Grade-5 examinations run from February 23 to 27, while Grade-9 examinations continue until February 28. Over 104,000 students are registered for Grade-5 and more than 25,000 students for Grade-9 across basic education, private and monastic education schools in the region.
