Industrial Zone Development: Supervision committee meeting held in Magway

Magway Region Government held a meeting to discuss the development and supervision of industrial zones on Sundy.

The meeting focused on the establishment of a new industrial zone in Magway. A committee was formed to assess four potential sites for the zone, selecting the most suitable location based on legal and regulatory criteria.

Chief Minister U Tint Lwin emphasized the importance of industrial development in the region, noting the lack of an existing industrial zone in Magway.

The government chose a construction company, "Su Htoo Pan Construction," as the developer after a thorough selection process in line with national regulations. The company began work on infrastructure, including roads, land leveling, and the installation of necessary utilities. Solar-powered systems are also being implemented for electricity, reducing dependence on the national power grid.

The project aims to ensure high-quality execution within the established timeline. The committee and the developers have been coordinating closely to ensure that all necessary infrastructure, such as roads, drainage, and security systems, are completed on schedule.
