Inspection of Development Works : Kayah State CM inspected development works

The Kayah State Government is implementing regional development projects to ensure their successful implementation.

On February 16, the State Chief Minister, U Sein Oo along with members of the State Government and responsible officials, inspected the progress of the new Loikaw Township Court building construction, the construction of a stone-paved drainage canal and platform on 4th Street, the construction of new libraries in basic education high schools, and the operation of study groups aimed at achieving higher pass rates in the matriculation examinations.

Firstly, the State Chief Minister and officials inspected the ongoing construction of the Loikaw Township Court building, which includes a 130-foot by 50-foot single-story reinforced concrete building and a 30-foot by 20-foot two-story building for storing evidence materials.

The Chief Minister provided necessary guidance and toured the construction site to inspect the work in progress.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction of a 225-meter-long, two-sided concrete stone-paved drainage canal and platform along 4th Main Street in Daw U-khu Ward and coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters.

After that, the State Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction of a new (40-foot by 30-foot) single-story RCC library at Basic Education High School No. 7 and provided necessary guidance.

They also observed and encouraged students participating in a study group aimed at achieving high pass rates in the 2026 matriculation examination.

Then, the State Chief Minister delivered words of encouragement to students at a study group for achieving high pass rates in the matriculation examination at Basic Education High School No. 1 and observed their learning and study activities, it’s reported.
