Exhibition and Music Concert : YGN CM visited around exhibits and music concert

The Yangon Region departmental exhibition and music concert, commemorating the 79th Union Day, is being held at the People's Square in Dagon Township, Yangon. On the final day, on February 16, it was bustling with people coming to shop.

At the 79th Union Day Yangon Region sectoral departmental exhibition and music concert, there were MSME product stalls selling consumer goods, cosmetics, and food items.

The Myanmar Cooking Oil Traders and Entrepreneurs’ Association was also selling cooking oil. Charity Feast (sathuditha) were provided to festival-goers.

Exhibition booths showcased regional products from various states and regions, book stalls were present, and Yangon Region departmental exhibits were on display. The event saw a large crowd of visitors and shoppers. On the final morning of February 16, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and Region Ministers arrived to encourage and support the event.

They warmly greeted sellers, shoppers, and visitors, and also personally made purchases.

Furthermore, the Region Chief Minister and officials joined the public in enjoying the 79th Union Day Yangon Region sectoral departmental exhibition and music concert. The Chief Minister warmly greeted famous singers.

The 79th Union Day Yangon Region sectoral departmental exhibition and music concert is being held at the People's Square in Dagon Township, Yangon, in 2026. To ensure convenience for attendees, YBS public vehicles have been arranged, contributing to a pleasant and particularly crowded atmosphere.

The festival was reportedly celebrated vibrantly and successfully from February 12 to 15, it’s reported.
