Renovation of Pagoda : Mon State CM inspected renovation of pagoda

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, along with State Ministers and officials, visited and paid homage to the Hair-Relics enshrined Kyaik Munai Pagoda, in Mu Nai Village, Taung Sun Village-tract, Chaungzon Township, on February 16, to inspect preparations for its comprehensive renovation.

The Chief Minister offered flowers, scented water, and oil lamps to the Hair-Relics enshrined Kyaik Munai  Pagoda and conducted a detailed inspection to facilitate its multifaceted renovation.

Subsequently, the State Chief Minister discussed matters related to the religion with the Ovadacariya Sayadaws regarding the progress of the comprehensive renovation and preparations concerning the pagoda.

After receiving guidance from the Ovadacariya Sayadaws, the Chief Minister made arrangements to facilitate the offering of the new diamond bud, ornamental pennant-shaped vane atop the pagoda, as well as the comprehensive renovation works, it’s learnt.
