NDSC Law No. 6/2026: Amendment to the Myanmar Engineering Council Law

The National Defence and Security Council has enacted an amendment to the Myanmar Engineering Council Law (Law No. 6/2026 of National Defence and Security Council) on February 14.

The amendment adds a new clause allowing the council, with the agreement of the relevant ministry, to extend the appointment of the council chairperson or any member beyond their original term if necessary. The law is signed under Article 427 of the Constitution by Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
