Inspection Tour: Development and cleanliness efforts in Dawei

Tanintharyi Chief Minister U Myat Ko, along with regional officials, on Saturday inspected a newly constructed kitchen for the nursing training school in Dawei.

The Chief Minister and party also reviewed the use of ICT in firefighting services, which allows citizens to report emergencies to the Fire Department quickly via IT systems.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of using modern technology to improve the efficiency and trust in public services. The Fire Department’s Command and Control Center, which began operations in November 2025, was also reviewed.

In addition, the Chief Minister inspected the readiness of the Tanintharyi regional hluttaw building ahead of an upcoming hluttaw session, ensuring that cleanliness and preparations were in place for the meeting.
