Various booths are on display at the Union-level MSME Products Exhibition and Market Fair, Nay Pyi Taw’s People Square from February 8 to 14.

Among them, the Business Matching Booth is providing comprehensive support services for MSME entrepreneurs. The booth connects MSMEs from regions and states with domestic and international markets, from start-up to export stage.

During the exhibition, entrepreneurs can directly contact relevant departments for required certifications and approvals, including the Department of Trade for Export/Import Entrepreneur Certificates, the Department of Food and Drug Administration for FDA Certificates, and the Department of Copyright for trademark registration, along with other import and export approval authorities.

MSME entrepreneurs can also engage with the Investment Linkage Team to access local bank financing for business establishment and expansion, and with the Overseas Market Linkage Team, which connects entrepreneurs to 16 economic attachés across 12 countries to support entry into overseas markets.

On February 13, the Ministry Coordination Team met with 56 MSME entrepreneurs, the Domestic Market Linkage Team met with 37 retailers and wholesalers, the Investment Linkage Team met with nine banks, and the Overseas Market Linkage Team met with 11 entrepreneurs. From February 8 to 13, the Business Matching Booth connected a total of 454 MSME entrepreneurs through Ministry Coordination Team.

The Domestic Market Linkage Team facilitated meetings between 305 entrepreneurs and 12 retail and wholesale shops. The Investment Linkage Team linked 234 entrepreneurs with 14 banks, while the Overseas Market Linkage Team connected 82 entrepreneurs for overseas market access.
