79th Union Day Exhibition : Thanintharyi Region CM opens the exhibition

The opening ceremony of the exhibition, commemorating the 79th Union Day was held at ShweWelThiri Sports ground in Dawei of Thanintharyi Region on 11th February.

Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and concerned officials inaugurated the ceremony by cutting the ribbon.

Then, the Chief Minister and party viewed round the 17 displayed booths which included documentary photos of the respective departments, memorial items, local products, ethnic traditional and cultural items and instruments, Product Show by Polytechnic University (Dawei), teaching aids and reference books and MSME booths of local products.

They then cordially greeted the visitors and presented cash rewards to the band troupe. The public visited the exhibition which displays the work undertakings of respective departments with great interest and it is learnt that the exhibition will be held until 12th February.
