Ceremony for Donating Books : MOI UM received the donation of books

A ceremony for donating books was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on February 11.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi (author Maung Aung), and responsible officials.

First, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi explained the purpose of the book donation and donated 500 copies of his authored book "The Interest Rate Not Even a Father-in-Law Can Give and Other Agri-Livestock-Irrigation Essays (Volume 2)".

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn received the donation and presented a certificate of honour in return. Following this, the Union Minister expressed his gratitude. Among the donated books,250 copies each will be distributed to public libraries under the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Information and to libraries under the Myanmar Libraries Foundation.
