Conferring Honorable Title: YGN Region CM presented honorable title

The Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held a ceremony to confer medals and titles on recipients during the 2026 78th Independence Day Anniversary. On the morning of February 11, an honorable title was bestowed upon the recipient who was unable to personally attend or have a representative attend the ceremony due to various reasons, at the Reception Hall of the Yangon Region Government Office.

During the ceremony, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and the Region Government members presented the Thippa Kyawswer Title to U Soe Htwe Zaw, Vice-Chairman (2) of the Myanmar Earthquake Committee.

For conferring the honorable title, special thanks were expressed to Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, and all responsible persons involved, it’d reported.
