Commemorative Celebration : 79th Shan State Day celebrated in Keng Tung

The 79th Shan State Day ceremony was held at the Keng Tung Town Hall on February 7. The ceremony began with paying respect to the state flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

A message sent by the Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing was read out by Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Genl Soe Hlaing.

Likewise, a message sent by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung was read by Police Colonel Nay Myo Htut, Secretary of the Shan State Government Administration Team (Eastern Shan). The ceremony also featured the exhibition booths showcasing local MSME products and regional food items.
