Dinner Reception: Commemorative reception at YU's Convocation Hall

A dinner reception in honour of the conferring of the Honorary Doctor of Public Administration(D.P.A. honoris causa) on Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, took place at the Convocation Hall of the University of Yangon on Thursday.

The reception was attended by the Acting President and wife, Commission Secretary General Ye Win Oo and wife, Commission members and their wives, Union Ministers and their wives, Yangon Region Chief Minister, Senior Military Officers from the Commander-in-Chief Office and their wives, Yangon Region Commander, Deputy Ministers, Rectors of Yangon University and international universities, emeritus professors, faculties, invited guests and officials.

The Acting President enjoyed the dinner, together with the attendees while enjoying the entertainment programs, staged by the students and famous vocalists.

After the dinner, the Director/ Principal of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, St. Petersburg and First Vice-Rector of Altai State Pedagogical University presented honorary gifts to the Acting President.

After the ceremony, the Acting President presented honorary flower baskets and cash rewards to the students.
