







Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and relevant officials, visited Ward No.(1), in Ayethaya Town, Taunggyi Township on February 4.
The Union Minister and party observed and encouraged the "Ozi", "Sandar", "ShweEin Met", "ZalapPhyu", and "Thida" sewing businesses, which are self-operated by individuals who successfully completed a sewing machine training course opened under a project to create small-scale manufacturing industries and increase family income by the Department of Small-Scale Industries.
The Union Minister provided guidance and coordinated to address necessary requirements. Subsequently, the Union Minister visited the Ayethaya Retired Military Servants Staff Housing Area.
He inspected the spring water diversion project and the mechanized well project, implemented by the Department of Rural Development, which provides water at a rate of 6,000 gallons per hour. Following a presentation by the State Director on the work carried out, the Union Minister instructed for the proper handover of the projects and issued supplementary directives as needed.
From there, the Union Minister proceeded to the Township Cooperative Society in Tha-Htay-Kone Ward, Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. He inspected the 5-acre test cultivation of Russian sunflower varieties, Markhaon and Valkuan and provided necessary guidance to the responsible officials.
Then, the Union Minister inspected the rearing of 4,000 New Hope breed chickens by the Township Cooperative Society and coordinated to address necessary requirements.
