Laying Wreath, Paying Tribute: Russian delegation laid a wreath at Memorial

At the invitation of National Security Adviser and Union Minister for the Ministry (1) of the President’s Office U Tin Aung San, a Russian delegation led by Russian Security Council Secretary Mr. Sergei Shoigu arrived in Myanmar. On Tuesday morning, the delegation laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Fallen Heroes in Nay Pyi Taw, paid tribute, signed the guest book, took a commemorative group photo and toured the site.

On a separate occasion at Jasmine Naypyitaw Hotel, Director General of the Information Technology and Cyber Security Department U San Win Tun and Director General of the Customs Department U Thein Swe met a delegation led by Mr Nikolai Prnishnikov, while Director General of Myanma Radio and Television U Ye Naing met Ms Lyudmila Katsuro from the Media Communications Development and International Cooperation Department under the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media. In the afternoon, the Russian delegation departed Nay Pyi Taw and was seen off by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw, officials from the Ministry 1 of the President’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian Ambassador to Myanmar.
