





Under the arrangement of the Mon State Government, a joint initiative was launched involving the Development Affairs Organization, the Department of Consumer Affairs, the Rice Millers Association, and the Edible Oil Merchants and Oil Millers Association.
On January 3, the Chief Minister and state ministers visited Mawlamyine University, where local producers, millers, and merchants were selling essential food items including rice, cooking oil, meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables at subsidized prices. The Chief Minister provided guidance to ensure the smooth distribution of goods and coordinated with officials to meet the public's needs.
The Nursing Training School (Mawlamyine) held a welcome ceremony for its 51st Batch of freshers at the school hall.
Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein delivered the opening address to the new students and the State Minister for Security and Border Affairs presented eggs and instant noodle packs to the trainees. The Chief Minister cordially greeted the students.
An anti-corruption educational talk, jointly organized by the Mon State Government and the Anti-Corruption Commission, was held at the State Hall in Mawlamyine. The Chief Minister delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the importance of integrity and transparency in the administrative sector, it’s reported.
