Union Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Kan Zaw received Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Mr. Sholban Kara-ool accompanied by Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov at the Internal Revenue Department, Office (46) in Nay Pyi Taw on December 29.

They cordially discussed bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, payment systems for finance, investment and trade between the two countries, the projects for mutual interest, and further mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister Daw Than Than Lin, and department heads under the Ministry of Finance and Revenue.
