Election in Sittwe : 59 polling stations opened in Sittwe Township

Phase (1) of the 2025 Multi-party Democracy General Election is being conducted in Sittwe Township on Sunday starting from 6 AM in the morning. A total of 59 polling stations are opened for 92,430 eligible voters from wards and village tracts within the township.

For systematic voting process in line with the election law, rules and regulation, related administrative members and concerned organizations emphasize on rights to votes of the locals, ensuring their safety during voting period.
