Convenient Voting : Polling booths in Yangon Region inspected

Yangon Chief Minister U Soe Thein and regional government officials inspected polling stations across townships on Saturday, to ensure readiness for the 2025 general election on December 28.

The Chief Minister visited polling stations in Kamayut Township, setting up at the basic and high schools, government offices, and private schools, observing the preparations, security arrangements, and the setup of voting equipment. He instructed staff to ensure smooth operations.

Similarly, the regional ministers inspected polling stations in Botahtaung, Ahlon, Mayangon,  Twantay, Thanlyin, Dagon Myothit (South), Kyauktada, Hmawbi, Taikkyi, Thingangyun and Mingaladon Townships. Officials reviewed preparation status and gave instructions to ensure ready for voters to cast their ballots smoothly.
