Support for Election : Meeting with the Russian delegation

Chairman of the Union Election Commission U Than Soe received Russian delegation led by Mr. Igor Borisov, member of the Central Election Committee of the Russian Federation in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

At the meeting, Mr. Igor Borisov expressed his appreciation for having a chance to observe 2025 Multiparty Democracy General Election of Myanmar. The Commission Chairman underscored the resilient relations between Russian Federation and Myanmar and delivered words of gratitude for firm support of Russia through thick and thin.

Then, both sides cordially made discussions on collaborative measures between election commissions of both nations signing MOUs, observation activities during election period and systematic arrangements to secure successful election process.
