Peace and stability : Night curfew lifted in Yangon Region

Yangon Region Government has lifted the night curfew starting the morning of December 27. The Regional Government has imposed night curfew from 1:00AM to 3:00 AM in 44 townships of the region (excluding of Coco Kyun Township) under the Criminal Procedure Code Section-144, regarding safety, tranquility and  rule of law.

The lifting of curfew intends to ensure further progress of economic and social matters, along with the convenient transportation of the public since improved peace and stability has seen in the area.
