At the ceremony, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung first explained the purpose of donating the books titled “Questions and Answers on Regional Tourism Development,” written by U Aye Myint Kyu (pen name: Chit Swe Myint), who had previously served as Union Minister for the Ministry of Culture (retired), Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism (retired), and Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Sports (retired).
On behalf of the author, the books were formally handed over, and the Union Minister for Education, Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, received them, presented a certificate of honor in return, and delivered words of appreciation.
It is learned that the donated books, “Questions and Answers on Regional Tourism Development,” will serve as basic reference materials for students studying tourism-related subjects at universities. In particular, they are primarily intended to support teaching and learning for students pursuing a Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management (BTHM) degree.
