Energy Sector: MOE Union Minister meets with the staff

Union Minister for Energy U  Ko Ko Lwin met with the staff under the ministry at the meeting hall of Pyay Oil Field, on December 21.

During the meeting, an official reported on research works for development of oil and gas generation in Pyay, Myan Aung-Shwepyitha and Padaung areas. The Union Minister said efforts are being made for increased generation of oil and natural gas by conducting researach works and collaboration with ethnic entrepreneurs.

He stressed the need to strive for generation of oil and natural gas from old oil fields with the use of technologies, applied in the international community. He then fulfiled the requirements for the healthcare and education of the staff.
