Development Works : Local development projects in Minbu (Saku)

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, together with regional officials, inspected local development projects being carried out under the Quick Win program in Minbu (Saku) Township on December 19.

He visited Maungmagan Village High School (Branch), where a new one-storey RC school building is being constructed with Union Government budget for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. He instructed officials to ensure the building meets quality standards.

He then inspected riverbank protection works at Chaungphyu Village, where erosion had occurred during the rainy season. The project is being implemented with 335 million kyats from Corporate Social Responsibility funds to prevent further damage.

A the Maungmagan Village monastery, the Chief Minister met with local residents and farmers, who raised the needs on road access, riverbank protection, electricity supply, irrigation water, solar-powered tube wells, access to loans, emerald green project fund, and the construction of a local fire station. Officials explained the sector wise work implementation, and the Chief Minister coordinate the needs.
