Meeting in Minbu : Acting President visits Minbu

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel, townselders and MSME entrepreneurs in Minbu on Saturday. Officials provided update reports on agriculture and livestock breeding works, boosting production, education promotion, irrigation system, better transportation and preparation for the upcoming election.

The attendees also reported on the needs for regional development. The Union Ministers explained the efforts for achieving peace and stability in the state, successful holding of the election, combating online frauds, deportation of illegal foreigners, and implementations for agriculture development and livestock sector.

The Acting President discussed that Minbu area mainly cultivates bean and cotton, and urged all to strive for achieving the targeted yield, contributing to the economic development of the region. He stressed the importance of data accuracy in implementation of development works.

The Acting President also highlighted for irrigation works, food sufficiency, human resource development, environmental conservation, MSME development, education promotion, rule of law, and preparations for the upcoming election.

He urged all to make collaborative efforts for development of the region. After the meeting, the Acting President cordially greeted the attendees and viewed the display of MSME products. The Acting President and party later inspected the upgrading works of Minbu District Football Ground, and instructed for ensuring proper drainage system and systematic construction of runway.

At the Minbu General Hospital, the Acting President and party viewed the health care services being provided to the patients, making cash donation for the hospital. Earlier in the day, the Acting President and party visited the View Point of Minbu and heard reports on upgrading of Magway-Minbu road.

The Acting President instructed for implementation of the tasks in line with the Highways Law, ensuring the upgrade works meet the set standards.
