Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin inspected the arrival of basic consumer goods and construction materials in Sittwe.

He viewed the unloading operations of rice, food supplies, and construction materials, and gave instructions to ensure safety, efficiency, and to prevent damage.

He later attended a ceremony where 12,755 displaced persons in Rakhine State received over 765 million kyat as assistance for July–September 2025, at a rate of 60,000 per person for three months. The state government has also been providing rice, shelters, sanitation, lighting, water facilities, school support, umbrellas for students, and donations to monasteries in displacement camps.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister attended a coordination meeting on developing systematic and mechanized farmland in Sittwe Township, stressing that modern agricultural machinery is essential to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase farmers’ income.
